I was reading Johanna’s blog over at The Passionate Cook and loved her brilliant breakfast idea of BLT bagels, coincidently were were shopping at Marktkauf a couple of weeks ago and we finally found some bagels.
This morning I decided to treat myself to that very same breakfast.

BLT BAGEL
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Sesame bagel
- 1 Slice Cheddar Cheese
- Shredded Iceberg lettuce
- 1 Tomato sliced thinly
- 4 Slices smoked streaky bacon
- Low fat mayonnaise
PREPARATION
- Cut the bagel in half and toast
- Grill the bacon until crisp and drain excess fat off on some kitchen roll.
- Spread both sides of the bagel with mayonnaise, place the cheese on the bottom of the bagel topped with the bacon, tomato and then the lettuce
- Eat and enjoy!
