I had some of that really nice garlic marinaded turkey breast left over from last night and so I thought it would make another scrummy bagel filling. As you can see from the photograph below I managed to cut this one properly, Stewart commented on the fact that my BLT bagel looked as if I had cut it with a blunt knife!

TURKEY BAGEL
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Sesame bagel, halved
- 3 Cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1 Red onion, sliced
- Iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1 Garlic marinaded turkey breast steak
- 1 Slice Cheddar cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Dijon mustard
- salt and freshly milled black pepper
PREPARATION
- Toast the bagel and leave to one side to cool.
- Spread one side of the bagel with mayonnaise and the other side with dijon mustard.
- Preheat a grill pan until it is smoking hot, grill the turkey breast until cooked through. Set aside to allow standing time.
- Slice the turkey breast, place on top of a slice of cheese on the bage and top with red onion, tomato and lettuce.
- Enjoy!
ooh yum! Red onions, tomotoes and mayo are one of my favorite combos in the world! Looks delish! :O)
