I woke up just after 5am with a really bad head today, took some painkilllers but they had no effect. Thankfully now it’s easing off so my thoughts have been turning towards dinner this evening.
Those of you who read my posting Confessions in Groups of Five will know that I have some problem meat in my freezer and I’m not sure what to do with it. I’m speaking of course about Wild Boar steaks. I think I have an idea for a recipe which may or may not work, you’ll have to check back later to see if it’s a disaster or not..

Oh dear. Boar from my part of the world tends to be quite gamey. Suitable Asian cooking styles will, like curries and stews, will mask the taste. Am not much good for recipes though, not having cooked wild boar myself, though I would imagine that a curry recipe suitable for mutton/lamb or beef will do.
