I got my latest scan today, Stewart came along with me and right on queue baby put on a show for his/her dad to see. The doctor was really pleased that the scans were coming out so clearly that she took 6 captures for us and the most amazing close-up of our baby’s profile and I’m so pleased that I thought I would share it with you.
Sorry I haven’t been cooking and sharing recipes but I’m still really exhausted so trying to find the motivation to spend any length of time preparing anything other than salads isn’t easy. As I said before normal service should hopefully be resumed shortly.

Thanks Sara!! I couldn’t believe that we could see all of the baby’s features in this. I must admit I have spent the past 24 hours staring at this picture in awe!!
I was really pleased that my morning sickness only lasted a week and a half. I’m sure my tiredness will pass soon.

Congrats! Do you plan to find out if it’s a boy or girl before you give birth, or are you leaving that as a surprise?
I know what you mean Mae, I’ve had quite a few scans already but I’ve never seen anything there that looked like a “proper” baby until now.
In every one of my the other scans the baby was static but this time it was moving around like mad. Definately feels real now!

Congratulations! That is one lucky kid there. From the food I’ve seen on this blog I think he/she is in for a treat! Good luck with everything and take it easy in the kitchen. I still haven’t got round to making your burgers yet!

Gabriella – Things here are going great, I’m feeling brilliant (although still getting tired – it’s improving)! My next scan is on 27th November and I can’t wait. My last scan seems soooooo long ago. I’m not 100% sure but I think I felt the baby move a couple of times this week! I’m really enjoying being pregnant, it’s done wonders for my skin and people keep telling me that I look really healthy so it’s safe to say that pregnancy really seems to agree with me so far – 16 weeks down and 24 left to go!
