This zingy little number really pepped up my Sunday afternoon. Cobbled together in the same time as it took to prepare the spaghetti, that’s definitely what I call fast food! See what you think.

SPICY SAUSAGE ARRABIATA
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Brandenburger Sausages, sliced
- 1 Medium Red onion, finely sliced
- 1 Clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 Jalapeno chilli, finely chopped
- 250ml Passata or a Tin of Chopped Plum Tomatoes.
- Sea Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper
- Olive oil
PREPARATION
- Fry the sauage slices in the olive oil for 2 minutes.
- Add the sliced onion, garlic, chilli and continue to fry for 5 minutes.
- Pour over the Passata, reduce the heat and allow to simmer for a further 5 minutes or until the sauce has reduced and thickened to the desired consistency.
- Season the sauce to taste and serve with cooked spaghetti.
- Enjoy!

I’m hosting a wine tasting party tomorrow and you gave me the idea to take the meatballs on the menu down a similar road as this. So thanks!
